One of my favorite things about working in the suburbs of Silicon Valley is the stares and comments I sometimes get due to my choice in outfits. It happened again this morning as I was pumping gas at a station near my office–full stare down by an older lady, and not a warm one. What did I do? Smile and wished her a nice day. ;)
Yes, I work in fashion. Yes, I work in tech. Yes, these heels are comfortable. And yes, I wear leather pants to work.

I feel like I get the same stares at my office. I’m by far the most fashionably advanced among the corporate suits… But I don’t mind! Love the pants… and I just bought the same sweater in pink!

For obvious reasons, I fit right in with my co-workers. :) It’s just outside of the office, since our office is in the middle of the Palo Alto suburbs. But, hey, let them stare all they want! xoxo

These ones are SO comfy. Just find the right type of leather–make sure it’s soft and quality. They are lined so they are comfy and not squeaky at all. Good luck!
