I can’t stop wearing some sort of combination of all of these pieces this season. Let’s start with the shoes: I couldn’t get myself to get the designer version of these shoes so I was excited to find these from Zara for $50. They fit me perfectly, are comfortable enough for me to last all day (sounds funny, but I actually have trouble wearing flats and sneakers for a long time), and I love the strong black & white contrast.
The hat: I never, ever considered myself a hat person until this season. And now I want them all! They’re the perfect way to hide unruly hair and keep your head warm (at least for the winter we experience here in San Francisco). My next hat challenge will be rocking beanies – think I can do it?

I came across these patent leather nude Louboutin pumps (practically brand new) on Poshmark for a fraction of the price and couldn’t resist getting them. I can’t tell you how perfect the color is. Plus, the shape – everything from the pointed toe to the thin, yet sturdy heel – help make your legs look toned, long, and oh-so-feminine. And now they have left me seeking a pair in black…

One of my three resolutions for this year is to simplify my life. This includes making a big effort to get rid of things that are taking up space, like my clothes. During the first session of my closet clean-out, I came across this skirt that I’ve worn one other time over a year ago. And I was very close to listing it for sale in my Poshmark closet, but I’m so glad I gave it another chance. This outfit turned out to be the perfect way to get motivated to head back to work after the holidays.
